Music Theatre of Madison is seeking an actress to play age 20-30 in our upcoming production of Jonathan Larson's tick...Tick. ..BOOM! Rehearsals begin at First United Methodist Church on August 18th. Show goes up September 6, 7, 12 and 13 at the River Arts Center in Prairie du Sac (we will carpool!!)

Seeking Susan et. al: Attractive young woman with the hope of settling down with her boyfriend, Jon. She has pursued a career as a dancer but is tired of the starving artist's life and longs to be a traditional wife and mother. Must be physically believable as a professional dancer. This actress also plays the ditzy but talented actress Karessa, Jon's over the top agent (think Joey's agent Estelle from "Friends"), a snobby business woman, uptight restaurant customers, and others. Strong singer and actress, able to transition easily between several characters. Powerful, high belt/mix necessary, as well as comfort with a difficult patter song.

A small stipend (flat rate plus percentage of box office income) will be provided at the conclusion of the project. Conflicts can be tolerated within reason.
